Hats

We all have more than one hat
each one, custom made not just to cover our awkward bald spots
but to satisfy ourselves and others
we all have that one hat
our favorite,
that one hat that we feel most confident in
that one hat that allows us to show everyone who we are
or just who we want to be
or maybe we use it to hide something that we don't want to be discovered

sometimes though....

we get tired of our own hats and we obsess over someone else's
always conscious of whats popular or whats in style
so we take it off and try something different
and then you have a new favorite hat
and its fun for a while
but once again
we find ourselves searching for something new and refreshing
